Yes - our OLGR QLD approved certificate is valid in QLD

In Qld, it is mandatory (since 1st Jan 2009) for certain people involved in Queensland’s liquor industry to have a current RSA training course certificate. The certificate must be issued by an Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) approved trainer. Our trainer is an OLGR approved trainer.

The people who must do RSA training in QLD (RSA QLD)

  • the licensee (if an individual)
  • a member of the staff of the licensed premises who is involved in the service or supply of liquor at the premises. Staff members involved in the service or supply of liquor include approved managers, bartenders, glass collectors, floor hostesses and room service staff

RSA QLD New Employee’s

New employees have 30 days to obtain their RSA training course certificate. A Statement of Attainment does not expire once obtained, even though the code identifying this course (currently, SITHFAB002) regularly changes. This means that if you hold a Statement of Attainment for 'Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol' from anytime in the past, it remains current irrespective of the course code.
